About Us
Last updated: 6 August 2026
Vaksera (Vaksera) is an India-focused legal workflow platform for advocates, law firms, and legal teams. We combine structured court drafting tools, bare-act reference, professional discovery, and practice utilities in one place — so you spend less time on repetitive paperwork and more time on clients and court.
Who we are
Vaksera is operated by Vaksera. We are a technology company serving the Indian legal profession. We are not a law firm, chamber of advocates, or Bar Council body, and we do not provide legal advice or representation through the Platform itself.
Our team includes product engineers and legal-domain contributors who understand how advocates actually work: tight filing deadlines, multiple courts, frequent amendments to criminal and civil procedure, and the need for reliable Word-ready drafts that respect local practice.
Who we serve
- Individual advocates appearing in trial courts, family courts, tribunals, and High Courts
- Junior advocates and clerks preparing first drafts under supervision
- Small and mid-size law firms standardising common petitions and notices
What Vaksera offers today
Court petition formats (free)
Hundreds of petition, application, notice, and memo templates for trial court, High Court, and specialised forums. Each format supports structured field entry, on-screen preview, and export to Microsoft Word (.docx) for final editing and filing. Templates cover criminal, civil, family, tax, motor-accident, writ, and miscellaneous matters.
Acts & sections
Browse Indian bare acts by section — including IPC, CrPC, BNS, BNSS, CPC, and the Motor Vehicles Act — with quick-reference summaries and links to related petition formats where available. Section text is sourced from official or reputable publications; you must always verify on India Code before filing.
Advocate discovery & availability
Advocates can publish court availability, practice areas, and fee guidance for professional visibility. Listings are user-submitted; Vaksera does not guarantee outcomes of any engagement.
Advocate case diary
A digital diary to track matters, hearing dates, and notes linked to your listings — designed for day-to-day practice management on desktop or mobile browsers.
SEO guides on select formats
Popular formats include in-depth articles (procedure, FAQs, schema markup) to help advocates and the public understand when and how a document is used. These articles are educational, not substitute advice for your case.
Our mission and values
Mission: Make high-quality legal drafting structure accessible to every advocate in India, regardless of firm size or location.
- Accuracy by verification — We remind users to check statutes, rules, and facts; automation does not replace professional judgment.
- Accessibility — Core drafting and act reference features are free to use.
- Respect for the profession — We build for Bar Council–enrolled advocates and compliant practice.
- Privacy and security — Account verification, secure sessions, and clear data practices (see our Privacy Policy).
How the platform works (in brief)
- Create an advocate account and complete profile verification where required.
- Choose a petition format or act section relevant to your matter.
- Fill fields, preview the draft, and download Word for final review and court-specific formatting.
- Optionally list court availability or use the diary to manage hearings.
You remain solely responsible for the content filed in court. See our Disclaimer and Terms of Use.
Legislative transition (IPC/BNS, CrPC/BNSS)
India’s criminal law transition affects how petitions should be captioned and which sections are cited. Vaksera provides templates and reference material for both legacy (IPC, CrPC) and new codes (BNS, BNSS) where applicable. Always confirm which code applies to your proceeding and date of offence or institution.
Trust, security, and compliance
We use industry-standard practices including HTTPS in production, server-side payment verification for purchases, OTP-based authentication flows, and advocate approval checks where configured. Payment card data is processed by our payment partner; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
